Salmon Marinades

FiNaLlY Spring has Sprung!
With spring upon us and summer just around the corner it's time to prepare marinades for meats, chicken and fish!
In the spring and summer To The Table creates meals fit for the grill. We focus more on marinaded items that are ready to grill. There are more side dishes available to create healthy, delicious, light meals perfect for a hot summer night.
Today we tested marinades for Salmon...
Spicy Pesto with Rolled Salmon
Tropical Fruit Salsa for Salmon
Coconut Sauce for Salmon
Our FAVORITE...
Thyme scented Salmon with Tuscan White Bean Salad
Want to test it out? Here is the White Bean Salad recipe:
1 Tbsp. EVOO
1/3 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped carrot
1/2 c. chopped shallots
2 cloves minced garlic
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. water
2 tsp. chopped fresh parsley
2 tsp. chopped fresh mint
2 tsp. chopped fresh basil
1 - 15 oz. can cannellini beans, drained
Heat oil in a skillet and add celery, carrot, shallots and garlic. Cook until tender. Add lemon juice, water, parsley, mint, basil and beans. Cook until heated throughout stirring constantly. Remove from heat and cover until serving time.
YUM!

A Wedding Shower Filled with HEARTS!

This weekend To The Table was reminded that wedding season is just around the corner. The chef catered a beautiful wedding shower with everything themed LOVE & HEARTS!

On The Menu:

Appetizer : Dates
Ricotta Stuffed Dates


Main Course: Love
Drunk on Love Pasta with a Vodka Cream Sauce


Desert: Forever
Coueur a la Creme with Raspberry Coulis

And for fun mini heart shaped sugar cookies the guests were able to decorate!

There are lots of things that go on at To The Table Personal Chef Service. Whether recipes are being tested, parties are being thrown or customized menus are being created there is always something happening! On this blog you are able to see what is working and not working in the kitchen. To The Table will share their specials, new offerings, tips and special recipes.



Soooo....what is To The Table Personal Chef Service? To The Table offers standard dinner services, interactive dinner parties, children's parties, cooking lessons and gift certificates. A Personal Chef is someone who saves you time, money and from the frustrating "What's for Dinner" question! How does the standard service work?

Step 1: In home complimentary consultation where we discuss food likes and dislikes.

Step 2: A customized menu is created for you and approved by you.

Step 3: The chef does the grocery shopping and brings their supplies to your home

Step 4: The food is prepared, packaged and frozen/refrigerated with heating instructions

Step 5: Your kitchen is cleaned up and you have delicious, nutritious meals ready when you are
